Begin Your Reiki Journey

Reiki training offers a practical and supportive way to deepen your connection with yourself, develop your confidence and learn skills you can use for your own wellbeing and to support others.

Training is available in Usui Reiki Level 1, 2 and 3 Master Healer. Workshops are offered through Community Education Whangarei and held at Your Healing Space, 438 Kamo Road, Te Kamo.

What to Expect from Reiki Training

You’ll learn in a relaxed, supportive environment alongside a small group of students. Each workshop combines discussion, practical experience, guided exercises and time to practice Reiki with others.

You don’t need to arrive with previous knowledge or special abilities.

Reiki Level 1 is designed as a welcoming starting point, helping you build understanding and confidence at a pace that feels comfortable.

  • build confidence in using Reiki for yourself and others

Reiki Training is not about becoming someone different. It is about developing practical skills, deepening your awareness and learning to trust your own experience.

FAQ’s

Allow me to guide you through your learning process with Reiki and becoming an established Reiki practitioner. Here are some answers I hope will provide a little clarity.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have completed your level one or level two you are more than welcome to join the next course offering the next level as long as you can supply the necessary certification showing you have either a level one or level two certificate.

  • Here at Awaken Your Reiki I offer Reiki training from two locations here in Whangarei.

    The first location is Community Education Whangarei or CEW.

    The second location is Your Healing Space, Whanagrei.

    These courses are more about hands-on learning rather than spending lots of time reading and exploring the manuals. We start this right from day one. Accompanying your training will be an attunement ceremony and here you are attuned to the Reiki energy. This applies with all three levels of the Reiki healing system.

  • Reiki Level One.

    Here you will be introduced to the history, five principles, hand positions and how you can easily incorporate Reiki into your daily life for self healing. Also through practising with your classmates, you will start to build your energy and confidence.

    Reiki Level Two.

    This is where you are guided into a deeper understanding of the Reiki techniques, the Reiki symbols and how to incorporate them into your healing sessions. During your attunement three sacred symbols are passed from myself to you. After your level two attunement you are now a Reiki Practitioner and able to practise on others looking for healing or just keep working on yourself.

    Reiki Level Three, Master class.

    This is the final level. Many people don’t think about going this far but I fully encourage you to complete your training. More understanding about the Reiki energy and how it applies to you and anyone you are working with is required.

    By now you should have a good understanding of all aspects of the Reiki healing system from your previous training. With your final attunement you will receive the final Reiki master symbol.

  • At the beginning of each level you will receive a manual with the necessary information to guide you on this amazing journey and at the completion of each level you will receive a framed certificate.
